Your decision to pause your podcast and re-evaluate your priorities is something I think we all could benefit from. It's so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of life and lose sight of what truly matters. Your story reminds me of the importance of taking a step back and asking ourselves, "Am I still enjoying this? Is this still serving me?" It's not about quitting; it's about conscious evolution.
I love that phrase, "conscious evolution"! This recent experience (re-evaluating what's on my plate) made me realize it's so much easier to hold on than to let go. I'd have said the reverse before this.
Your podcast seems similar to what I go through with my writing. Especially in terms of worrying if it is good enough or will get through enough for it to have value. This post encourages me to keep on. And it will encourage others who weren't expecting and even realizing they could use a bit of encouragement. Thanks and onward!
I am there with you Lou - we are the ones to prioritize and make decisions for ourselves now, and we should rejoice for that! :)
YES!!! That's "supposed to be" the benefit of being out of the corporate world... I just need to remember it all the time 😂. Cheers, Yi!

Yes! I think it is because to let go is change, and change is pain to the brain, and we don’t like pain.

I will be on the side cheering with my pom-poms, Larry! Here's to more India Street in 2025! 🍾 🥂
Thanks so much.
