Great list, Lou! I think you hit all of the ones that are important to me as well. I meditate while walking, which I do at dawn so I can see the sunrise. (I walk in the nearby wild of the high prairie in northern New Mexico where I live, and I greet my plant-kin as I go.) I invariably leave my house saying that I'll just make it a short walk, and at each junction point on my regular loop of trails and side-roads, I choose to go on, until I've been out for an hour. My mood rises with each step, and my body goes from Lupus-aches and pains to feeling good. I say that walking is my medicine, and it's true. Blessings!

I love seeing the pictures of your walk when you post them on Notes. I can just imagine how beautiful those sunrises are! Truly the best medicine (therapy for me!).

They are therapy and spiritual/emotional food for me too!

Excellent list, Lou. My morning routine which includes some of those activities plus a few more has changed my life for the better.

Have you always been doing them? For a long time, my morning routine was: wake up when alarm clock goes off, jump in the shower, get ready for work while slugging coffee, run to catch the subway or run to the airport to catch a flight. 😂
